Information about the parish
The catholic parish of Oulu was founded in 1992. To the parish belong the region of Oulu (except Kajaani) and Lapland. At the moment it is the most northern catholic parish of Finland.
Every year courses are held for those who want to deepen their faith, or join (or familiarize with) the catholic church.
There are masses in Oulu every sunday at 10.00 in english and at 11.15 in finnish. In the diaspora (Raahe, Rovaniemi, Tornio) there are masses on sunday one or two times a month (see diaspora).
